Hello Members,

It was a privilege to meet many of you during the Mid-Year Conference in Columbus, OH, this past November. I was able to see the growth and impact of all the students who inspire and uplift this organization. I shared a pamphlet for members to learn more about Robert’s Rules and Alternative to Discipline Programs within nursing, which can also be found on the Ethics and Governance webpage.

Since my election, I have been committed to the continued excellence of our organization. As Chair of the Ethics and Governance Committee, I work to ensure that NSNA’s bylaws and code of ethics are upheld. In this role, I assist state chapter leadership by addressing questions related to the code of ethics and bylaws, and by providing guidance and support whenever needed.

Additionally, I have been collaborating closely with the Ethics and Governance Committee to form ways that encourage chapters to refine and actively educate their members on their codes of ethics, guided by the principles of NSNA’s code of ethics.
